Unfortunately, they often end up as e-waste, and India ranks as the 3rd largest generator of such waste in the world! Shockingly, almost 85% of e-waste is dumped in landfills, where it produces harmful toxins that pose a serious threat to the environment and our health.

At the same time, thousands of youth and students cannot even afford a device to continue their education. which impacts them knowing they have enough technical skills to compete with youth who have access to technology.

Yantra Daan Foundation addresses the critical gap in digital accessibility by providing second-hand electronic devices to students and youth who cannot afford them. In today’s world, access to technology is one of the most important part for education, skill development, and employment opportunities. However, many students, particularly from low-income backgrounds, struggle due to the lack of devices resources like laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

Additionally, our initiative promotes responsible e-waste management by ensuring that non-functional devices are recycled through verified recyclers, reducing environmental harm. Through our platform, we connect donors with recipients directly, making digital inclusion more accessible and sustainable.
